Journeying and visits
Selinda My Wife started for the state of New York the 30th of
8th mo., 1830 and returned 11th of 10th mo. having been gone just 6
weeks.
Patience My Wife started 31st of 8th mo., 1835 for a visit to
her Fathers in the State of New York. Was gone 7 weeks.
14th of 5th mo., 1839. Brother Nathan Comstock made us a visit
and staid 6 days.
19th of 8th mo., 1839 Patience started to visit her Father and
got home 14th of 10th mo. being abscent 8 weeks and 2 days.
15th of 9th mo., 1838 Father and Mother Payne made us a visit
and staid 9 days and left a dowery for the children of $500. I took
them out to Nathan Stoddards.

Patience started 27th of 8th mo., 1844 to visit her Father and
Mother and returned 19th of 10th mo., being gone 9 weeks lacking 1
day.
Brother George Payne made us a visit and staid here during the
5th and 6th mo., 1831 and worked for Father and helped me about the
barn under pinning.
Brother Calvin Payne made us a visit in the fall of 1834 staid
about 2 or 3 days.
18th of 9th mo., 1846.
Patience started for her 4th visit to her fathers and Returned
on the 23rd of 10th mo. making four weeks and 4 days.
